1) Alzheimer’s Disease
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of Dementia. Alzheimer’s disease accounts for almost 60% of all cases of Dementia in people. Alzheimer’s disease slowly destroys the brain cells and nerves severely disrupting them from sending messages from the brain to the other parts of the body. Some parts of the brain begin to shrink as gaps begin to develop in the hippocampus and the temporal lobe.
